Cookie Policy

1. Introduction

This Cookie Policy explains how Conexello uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website or use the Conexello platform.

This policy should be read together with our:

  • Privacy Policy;
  • Terms of Service.

Conexello is currently operated by:

2. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website.

Cookies allow websites and applications to:

  • remember user preferences;
  • maintain secure sessions;
  • authenticate users;
  • provide essential functionality.

Cookies may be:

  • session cookies, which expire when you close your browser;
  • persistent cookies, which remain until they expire or are deleted.

3. How Conexello Uses Cookies

Conexello uses cookies and similar technologies only where necessary to provide and secure the Service.

We currently use cookies for:

  • user authentication;
  • maintaining secure login sessions;
  • remembering necessary application settings;
  • protecting accounts and preventing misuse;
  • analytics and product improvement (Microsoft Clarity) — only where you have given consent through our cookie banner.

Authentication, session, security and functionality cookies are considered essential because the Conexello platform cannot operate properly without them. Analytics cookies are never set unless you accept them.

4. Types of Cookies We Use

4.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are required for the operation of Conexello.

Examples include:

PurposeReason
AuthenticationAllows users to securely sign in
Session managementKeeps users connected while using the platform
SecurityHelps protect accounts and prevent unauthorised access
Application functionalityEnables core platform features

Because these cookies are necessary for providing the Service, they do not require consent under applicable cookie laws.

4.2 Analytics Cookies (Consent Required)

We use Microsoft Clarity, a product analytics and session-replay tool provided by Microsoft Corporation. Clarity helps us understand how visitors interact with our website (for example which pages are viewed, where visitors click and scroll, and where they encounter problems) so that we can improve the Service.

ProviderPurposeLegal basis
Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation)Usage statistics, heatmaps and session replay to improve the websiteConsent

Clarity is loaded only after you select "Accept all" in our cookie banner. If you reject non-essential cookies, no Clarity script is loaded and no Clarity cookies are set. Clarity masks text input by default; we do not use it to record payment details or passwords. Microsoft may transfer data outside the UK/EEA under appropriate safeguards. You can read more in the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

To withdraw your consent, clear the cookies and site data for conexello.com in your browser; the cookie banner will appear again on your next visit and you can choose "Reject non-essential".

4.3 Local Storage Used by Conexello

In addition to cookies, Conexello stores a small amount of information directly in your browser's local storage. This information stays on your device and is not used for tracking or advertising.

You can clear these at any time through your browser's site data settings. Clearing them signs you out and resets your preferences.

5. Cookies We Do Not Currently Use

Conexello does not currently use:

  • Google Analytics;
  • Meta Pixel;
  • advertising cookies;
  • behavioural advertising trackers;
  • third-party marketing cookies.

We do not track visitors for advertising purposes.

6. Third-Party Services

Some third-party providers used by Conexello may use cookies or similar technologies as part of providing their services.

These providers may include:

  • Supabase;
  • Paddle;
  • Zoho Mail;
  • Microsoft Clarity (analytics — consent only);
  • Lovable.

The use of third-party technologies is limited to providing required functionality, security, operational services or — with your consent — website analytics.

Google Search Console

We use Google Search Console to monitor how our website appears in Google Search. Verification is performed using a meta tag in the page source. Google Search Console does not set cookies on your device through our website and does not track individual visitors; it provides us only with aggregated search statistics.

7. Managing Cookies

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through browser settings.

You may:

  • delete existing cookies;
  • block cookies;
  • receive notifications before cookies are stored.

Please note that disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of Conexello from functioning correctly, including:

  • logging in;
  • accessing account features;
  • maintaining secure sessions.

8. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when:

  • new technologies are introduced;
  • new analytics tools are added;
  • legal requirements change.

If Conexello introduces non-essential cookies requiring consent, we will update this policy and request consent where required.
